20 Years on the Tools, Then a Company Built the Right Way
RPH Construction was founded by someone who spent over two decades working in the roofing and construction trade across Ireland — not behind a desk, but on the tools, on roofs, on sites, learning what good work actually looks like from the ground up. After 20 years of doing the job for other people and other companies, the decision to build something of his own wasn't about chasing a brand or a logo. It was about doing things properly, on his own terms, with people he could trust standing beside him.
That opportunity came when a team of 8 experienced tradesmen needed somewhere to land. Rather than see that experience scatter to different employers, he made the call to bring them together and build a company around them. Combined with his existing core team of carpenters and roofers, that decision became RPH Construction — a team of 14 full-time tradespeople with a combined depth of experience that's rare to find under one roof in the Midlands.
Why We Started RPH Construction
There's a particular kind of frustration that comes from years of watching jobs done badly by people who didn't have the experience or the standards to do them properly — corners cut that nobody sees until something fails, quotes that bear no resemblance to the final bill, projects abandoned halfway through because the contractor took on more than they could handle. After 20 years in the trade, we'd seen all of it.
RPH Construction exists because we believe homeowners in Longford and the Midlands deserve better than that. We wanted to build a company where the standard of work is set by people who've actually done the job themselves for decades, where the team showing up on site is the same team that quoted the work, and where a homeowner can trust that what they're told at the start of a project is what they'll get at the end of it.

Our Own Team, Every Time We don't subcontract pieces of the job out to whoever's available. The carpenters, roofers and builders working on your property are employed directly by RPH.
Straight Talking, Even When It's Not What You Want to Hear If a project doesn't need to be as big as you're imagining, we'll tell you. If something's going to cost more than expected, we tell you before it happens, not after.
